What the app stores
dine reminder stores the places you save, including their names, addresses, coordinates, and available contact links, plus visit status and notes you enter. It also stores local alert preferences. You do not create a separate TransPacific Productions account.
iCloud synchronization and sharing
Your restaurant library is stored on your device and synchronized using Apple’s CloudKit service in your private iCloud database. Apple manages the Apple Account and iCloud infrastructure. We do not operate a separate server that receives your restaurant library. The Share Extension holds a selected place in a local shared inbox until the main app imports it. App Group access is limited to the containing app and its extension.
Location and notifications
With your permission, location supports nearby searches, distance sorting, and proximity alerts. The app sends Maps search requests, which may include a search area or nearby coordinates, to Apple’s mapping services. Notification preferences and alert permissions remain device-specific. You can change permissions in your device’s Settings. Area searches are available without location permission.
Maps links, websites, and Siri
Looking up a shared shortened Maps link contacts Apple’s Maps servers. Restaurant websites, calls, and directions use the destination or system app you choose; those services have their own privacy practices. Siri and Shortcuts process requests under Apple’s settings and policies. We do not receive a recording of your Siri requests.
Advertising and analytics
The reviewed app source contains no advertising network, cross-app tracking, third-party analytics SDK, or custom analytics endpoint. We do not sell your saved places or use them for targeted advertising. Apple may independently process service, purchase, or diagnostic information under its policies and your settings.
Support correspondence
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use that information to respond and troubleshoot, and retain it only as reasonably needed for those purposes and legitimate recordkeeping obligations. Do not send sensitive information unless it is necessary to your request. You can ask about removal of support correspondence using the contact address above.
Retention and deletion
Removing a place removes it from the visible library and propagates that change through sync. The app uses append-only change records and retained deletion markers to prevent an older device from restoring deleted places. Those records can contain earlier place data, notes, and visit state; a visible removal is not a guarantee of immediate permanent erasure. Local migration backups, device backups, and iCloud backups may retain previous information. Review Apple’s iCloud storage and backup controls for broader removal. We cannot directly erase your private iCloud database on your behalf.
This website
This static website includes no analytics scripts, advertising trackers, contact form, user accounts, or nonessential cookies. Visiting it necessarily sends standard connection information such as your IP address and requested page to its hosting provider. Hosting logs, security processing, and retention depend on the host’s configuration. Links to other websites are governed by their policies. Email links open your chosen email service.
Children and sensitive information
This is a general-audience restaurant utility, not a service directed specifically to children. Please avoid storing sensitive personal information in visit notes. If you have a concern about information sent to support by a child, contact us.
Changes and contact
We will update this page if practices change. The effective date identifies the latest policy. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to support@transpacificproductions.com. Apple’s services are also governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
